Condition Report
Crystal
The sapphire crystal is in excellent condition, free from any scratches or damage.
Case
The case is in excellent condition with very few marks to the original brushed finish. This watch is particularly unique as it features a bi-metal case of both stainless steel and an estimated 2mm thick solid 18ct insert which fits completely flush with the stainless-steel. These watches are becoming increasingly more rare as many are having their gold elements removed.
Dial & Hands
The dial and hands are in excellent condition, the dial and hands are both in lovely shape and only show very minor signs of patina to some of their edges. A very clean example.
Movement
The Cal.1448 Omega movement is running great and has been tested for complete functionality.
Bracelet
The watch remains on its original Omega integrated bracelet with sliding clasp, this is in excellent condition and will fit a wrist size up to 18cm.
Water Resistance
As is the case with all vintage timepieces, the gaskets and seals responsible for maintaining water resistance degrade naturally over time and cannot be relied upon to perform to their original specification. Accordingly, no representation or guarantee is made as to the water tightness of this or any watch we sell, irrespective of its original manufacturer rating. We strongly advise against exposing the piece to water, humidity or steam ? including showering, swimming, and humid environments ? in order to protect the movement and dial. Please note that damage or loss resulting from water ingress falls outside the scope of our returns policy below and cannot be accepted as grounds for return.
Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving the watch, subject to the watch being in exactly the same condition with all posted accessories present. The buyer is responsible for booking return postage and ensuring its safe arrival back to the seller ? we recommend a tracked and insured courier. This policy does not apply if the watch and/or accessories have incurred any water damage, odours, marks or scratching.
International Buyers
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees levied by their country's authorities upon arrival. These charges are determined by the destination country and are entirely outside of our control; please check with your local customs office prior to purchase if you are unsure of the costs that may apply.
